Paxxo is committed to reducing environmental impact for our customers. For many years, we have focused on producing an extremely thin yet exceptionally strong film, and since 1980 we have successfully reduced its thickness by half. Tests using the Dart Drop method show that it has become the world’s strongest PE film in relation to its thickness. Our core products are manufactured with at least 50% recycled plastic or bioplastic. Compared with a traditional waste bag, our products reduce CO₂ emissions by 80% and plastic consumption by 70%.

Many companies talk about environmentally friendly products. Ours have always been better for the environment, and our production becomes cleaner and more sustainable every year. The amount of combustible waste per metre produced has decreased by 60% compared with 2005. A total of 85% of all waste is recycled into 22 fractions, and the remaining waste is recovered for energy. The amount of electricity used per metre produced has been reduced by 50% compared with 2005.
