For many years, Paxxo has been committed to being an environmentally focused company, continuously working to reduce our customers’ CO₂ emissions, and we are still pushing forward.
We have also reduced our own electricity consumption by 56% per produced metre compared with 2005.
In addition, we recycled 89% of all our waste, and combustible material has been reduced by 60% since 2005 in relation to production volume.

Our environmental management system continues to enhance the environmental performance of our products, strengthen our competitive advantage, and contribute to sustainable development.
It has already been proven that our products offer a better environmental choice, reducing customers’ plastic consumption and lowering CO₂ emissions by 80% compared to traditional refuse bags.

By choosing Longopac, our customers saved 35,000 tonnes of CO₂ and 5,000 tonnes of plastic during 2024.

Thanks to our sustainable plastic usage, Paxxo has saved 44 MSEK in reduced EU fees.
On top of that, we have helped our customers save more than 35 MSEK in emission-related costs.
