2025Paxxo completes the LEAN programme Produktionslyftet, which has shortened lead times and increased productivity.
2024Paxxo reaches 10 million produced cassettes.
2023Paxxo wins Malmö City’s Business Award for “Environment and Sustainable Development”.
2022The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise highlighted Paxxo’s bagging system Longopac in its report “Advantage Environment – Environmental Benefits of New Products.
2021A new fully automated production line is built for the Mini cassettes.
2021Paxxo expands and acquires the industrial property Rönnskär 3.
2021Paxxo now manufactures Longopac cassettes with up to 50% recycled material, and the Longopac system reduces CO₂ emissions by 80%. The world’s strongest waste bag.
2019The new extrusion hall is inaugurated by Minister for Enterprise Ibrahim Baylan. The new facility enables further expansion, allowing Paxxo to better meet future production demands.
2018Paxxo launches a CO₂ calculator to measure customers’ CO₂ savings when using Longopac instead of traditional waste bags, and they receive a CO₂ certificate showing the results.
2017Paxxo is awarded “Sustainable Healthcare Company 2017” at the NSCH Conference in Stockholm.
2016Inauguration of the first fully automated production line for Mini cassette manufacturing (now phased out).
2015A generational and ownership transition takes place in 2015, making Henrik Péters and Richard Péters the majority owners of the company.
2014Paxxo begins using 100% fossil-free energy.
2013Longopac was awarded the title of the most innovative product at Carnexpo.
2013Paxxo obtains ISO 14001 environmental certification.
2012An office and warehouse are established in Atlanta, USA.
2012Paxxo acquires Labodan AS in Denmark.
2010Henrik Péters becomes CEO.
2005Acquisition of a complete industrial property with offices on Bjurögatan in Malmö.
2005Pactosafe is acquired from Danfo AB.
2004The first fully automated production line for Maxi cassette manufacturing is inaugurated.
1996The first extruder is installed, marking the start of in-house cassette film production.
1996Paxxo obtains ISO 9001 quality certification.
1992One of the owners, Sture Sundberg, passes away, and Carl Hugo becomes the sole owner of Paxxo.
1985The office and production move to the current premises.
1983Paxxo was commissioned to manufacture toilet cassettes for Danfo AB in Nora
1980Paxxo was founded in Malmö by Carl Hugo Péters and Sture Sundberg. The company initially marketed Longopac for waste management in multi-family buildings.
